This is the last part of our look back at 2012. Those moments that defined the anime experience, those scenes that you just can’t get enough of and those events that’ll stick with you forever. We started with Shining Hearts and Tony Taka’s awesome character design, talked about some great anime moments like Gin and Futayo kicking ass, talked about worst ones like the disturbing beach episode from Another and there are also a lot of kissing moments that I am too ashamed to admit. We have reached the top twenty five now and these moments are truly the ones that made the whole anime experience of 2012 an amazing ride. Have you seen your favorite moments yet? Maybe they’re in this one. Maybe not. I’m not exactly the kind of blogger that goes with the flow so some of these moments may not even cross your mind.
This is the third part and we are halfway through the countdown. I made the list four parts simply because I am intimidated by it all. I can combine them in one giant post but the amount of GIFs and those stupid pictures I had to make takes a lot of time. Dividing the load was the best thing to do. Anyways, I’ve covered a good amount of anime thus far from popular ones like Little Busters to very obscure ones like Ebiten. This was really my anime journey combined in a list. I’ve seen all of these anime and I have a high tolerance for things other people dismiss so I’ve been able to experience a lot of great anime moments as I blog as TPAB. The bottom half is already done and I hope the moments that got into the top fifty are some that I hope you all enjoyed as well.
This is the second part of my compilation of the best (and worst) anime moments of 2012. I’ve always wanted to do a top thingy to conclude my anime watching of 2012. I’ve seen a lot of anime and made a lot of reviews about it. Seriously, I’ve seen too much but not enough to reach my goal. Anyways, before I move on to the anime of 2013, I want to do a wrap up of my anime experience first. Any idiot can make a top ten list though and it feels too normal for me. I want to do something excessive so I did a top hundred list. I hope you enjoy reading this unnecessarily long list as much as I had fun making it. Any complains and disagreement on the ranking of the list is gladly welcome. Just voice your thoughts in the comments section. Please be mindful though that this is MY list and I am as bias as a dude that gives Oretachi Tsubasa wa Nai a score of 8 of ten.
These are the anime that I reviewed that came out of the Winter 2011-12 season. There are still a couple of on going anime and a bunch of OVAs and specials I do plan to watch and review. Ano Natsu is pending because I had a hard time enjoying the anime. Someone convince me that the anime isn’t just a clone of Onegai Teacher!!!!
Hello there. This is the Pantless Anime Blogger with another review. This is review number fourteen of my goal to reach a thousand. It’s June here in my country (wordpress is in American time so its still May 31 officially). It’s June here and that means that I’ve lasted a month blogging and making GIFs. I’ve had some pretty good views thanks to my MAL account. It seems like people in MAL are the only people viewing this crap. Haha.
I’m going to review an OVA today. I won’t follow my usual format of Story/Review/Art Review because an OVA is a diiferent creature than a regular anime series. The OVA I’m going to review is Another OVA. I love the series so much that I immediately downloaded the OVA. After watching it, I can tell you that this humble blogger urges everybody else to try it. I recommend this even if you’ve never watched the original series. Let’s read on.
I love the death scenes in Another. The animation was so good and the gore was just right. PA Works did a bang up job with it. If they can keep this break through streak they have, they might topple KyoAni’s rise to fame back in ’06. What they need now is revolutionary anime that isn’t K-on. Haha.
If you have doubts about picking up Another. I simply have three things to show you. Check out the GIFs and convince yourself to watch this awesome anime.
This is my fourth review. This is an anime I watched in one sitting. It’s strong indication that it’s a really good series. I am very plot oriented so when I tell you a plot is good, it’s really good. The anime I’m talking about is titled Another. It’s a twelve episode anime that I truly can say is a great mystery anime.
I recently watched Ookami Kakushi and I could tell you that anime needed a bit of Another’s charm. That anime was a huge letdown. Luckily, my spirits was revitalized after watching this one.
